Millau Viaduct by Norman Foster - £783 3
Days/4 Nights Tuesday - Saturday. Included in price:
This 3 day advanced course is held from Wednesday to Friday, with Tuesday and Saturday as your travel days. This advanced course is specifically designed for you to develop your photographic skills and to produce your own stunning pictures. The
Millau viaduct is the tallest vehicular bridge in the world, at 343mts at its
highest point and 2,460 mts in length, opened in December 2004 and designed by
structural engineer Michel Virlogeux and architect Norman Foster. This eight-span
steel roadway supported by seven pylons is a specutacular landmark across the
tarn valley. The course begins on Wednesday with camera set up followed by lunch. After lunch we will review the area and study the viaduct and discuss perspective, angle of view and lighting. In the evening you are free to explore locally and dine at one of the local restuarants. Thursday and Friday morning we shoot and develop and expand your photographic skills. On Friday after lunch and image review, your images will be downloaded to a DVD for you to keep. This advanced course is aimed at those who have a good understanding of manual control of their camera but who wish to develop and expand on their photographic skills. You will also learn advanced Photoshop controls and editing techniques to produce your own stunning prints. There is a maximum of four people per course. This means that Paul has time to spend with you to provide one to one tuition, allowing you plenty of time to ask questions and develop your skills both with the camera and the computer. Images will be downloaded each day for you to review and you will also receive instruction on Photoshop. At the end of the 3 days you will receive a 4.7 gb DVD of your images, for you to review and work with. Included in the cost of the course:
